「Thriller」の40周年記念盤が、ビルボード、HITS Daily Double、iTunesでトップ10ヒットとなった。

先週木曜日からのアルバムのトータルセールスあるいはストリーミングは37000だった。今週はさらに増えるだろう。40周年記念盤には未発表デモなどのボーナス・トラックが収録されている。また、リマスターも施され、サウンドは最高である。

この新たな成功は、長年にわたって足を引っ張られてきたマイケルにとって汚名をそそぐものである。また、偉大な音楽は時代を超越するものであることを示すものだ。


■Michael Jackson’s Thriller Album Jumps into the Top 10 on Billboard, Other Charts with 40th Anniversary Edition

Michael Jackson is back!

The 40th anniversary edition of “Thriller” has hit the top 10 on Billboard, hitsdailydouble, and iTunes.

Total albums sold or streamed through last Thursday were 37,000. There will be more this week. The 40th anniversary collection includes extra tracks, unheard demos, and that sort of thing. It’s also been remastered so the sound is topnotch.

The new success is a vindication for MIchael after years and years of being dragged. It also shows that great music is timeless.
