（要旨）MTVの最近のインタビューで、映画監督アレン・ヒューズはマイケルは「驚くべきアクターだが誰もそれを知らない」と語った。

「『ウィズ』でかかしを演じるマイケルの微妙なニュアンスを見てごらんなさい。あるいはウェズリー・スナイプスと一対一の演技をしたスコセッシ監督の『BAD』でもよいでしょう。彼の演技？すばらしいよ。私はアクターというものを分かっている。そして彼は驚くべきアクターだったよ」。以下原文。

■Michael Jackson Was An “Incredible Actor”
(16-1-2010) In a recent interview with MTV, director Allen Hughes said that Michael was “an incredible actor and no one knew that.” He continued;

“If you look at the nuances of ‘The Wiz,’ when he played the Scarecrow. Or if you look at the short film Scorsese directed before ‘Bad,’ where he’s going head to head with Wesley Snipes. The acting he was doing? Oh my god it was good. I know actors and he was an incredible actor.”
